Michael Reese Hospital has an extensive community outreach program and numerous community sponsors who partner with the hospital to provide health screenings as well as health information and lectures in the community, in addition to the classes and lectures held at the hospital. Outreach activities are provided for schools, churches, community centers, city, state and not-for-profit agencies. Free screenings include everything from hypertension to body fat analysis. Lectures are provided by Michael Reese Hospital's expert staff of physicians, clinicians, specialists, nutritionists and other support personnel.
